We have read many times news that makes us wonder and/or laugh, but this is too much!
Browsing through various articles in the Guardian, I came across the following news and I do not know if I should laugh or “cry”.
So, according to this article, Rock “N” Roll has the ability to keep people away from… Bears (???) !!!
This, at least, is what the authorities in a Japanese region claim, using a song they composed in Rock “N” Roll melodies.
The lyrics? Even more strange than the news itself.
“So, you think bear cubs are cute?
Discard that naive way of thinking!
Nearby that cub is a parent bear, and it’ll suddenly attack you! Roar, roar, roar, roar, roar, roar – it’ll suddenly attack you!”
Screaming guitars and drums pounding like war chants!
Authorities hope the song, which is played in local malls, will teach people how to stay safe.
Songwriter Kaoru Toudou, said he originally wrote it in a more blues mood.
But singer Yuuzen Taguchi, gave a more Rock look when he added his vocals.
“Bears are said to be cowardly creatures, so I think if anyone heard the song playing outside, they would run,” Toudou said.
“This is the power of rock’n’roll,” he concluded.
And here is where it fits: How much more will we read about this music??
On the other hand, however, it is better to chase them away with melodies than to kill them!
