Some news that comes to the surface is extremely sad, especially when it comes to lost musical diamonds.
It is like proof that we do not pay the necessary attention to culture and consequently to music.
News like this, unfortunately, very often sees the light of day and is a bell for all of us.
How is it possible to “forget” a cassette full of music, interviews, videos?
Radio producer and journalist Dave Mason have discovered dozens of reels, which include some of the biggest names in music.
Reels from the ’80s and ’90s were found while he was arranging his attic.
“I found dozens of forgotten old records and cassettes containing songs, covers, imitations, and revealing interviews.
It really is a treasure trove of material, of some of the artists who are no longer with us,” Mason said.
More than thirty analog movies were found, many of which were in bad condition.
A consequence that always comes when you “forget” the music story …
Among the interviews revealed are those of Noel Gallagher and Bath’s band, Tears For Fears.
Early recordings by bands such as Blur, The Corrs, Suede and artists such as Alison O Moyet and Kirsty MacColl were also revealed.
Of course, with the help of an expert, all the recordings were restored and this time the music story was saved …
