Witche’s Brew members come from different social and geographical backgrounds.

The main influence on their musical creation is only the simple everyday life around them.
And the forerunner of their fourth album “Chronicles of Electric Sorcery“, the song “Contagious“, is no exception.
The process of creating the song started as a gathering of magicians, except that the elixirs were nothing but notes and the magic invocations were their lyrics.
According to Mirko Witche Bosco, the band’s guitarist, he brought the music to the rehearsal studio.
Mark Blacks, their singer, wrote lyrics on it.
Of course, no one was left out and everyone together on the pot of creation added the ingredients to complete the song.
As Mirko reveals, he has no internal source of inspiration as a result of a psychological process.
He basically observes situations around him, and these are the sparks of his creation.

The title of the song, “Contagious“, describes what Italy has been experiencing since the beginning of 2020.
For them, writing music is a process of narrating life and the events that accompany it.

Like the songs of the bards, which conveyed a message that only a connoisseur could understand, so did “Contagious“.

The feeling that accompanies the creation of the lyrics is that of faith. Whatever misery finds humanity, it is profoundly capable of overcoming it.
Mirko does not want the song to be confused with some socio-political analysis.
It talks about life, reality, something that is contrary to the statements of politicians based on lies!
He is not interested in politics, obviously because of the situation nowadays.
