Ένα κλεισμένο από καιρό ραντεβού, έδειχνε πως το Σάββατο 4 Μαΐου στο Κύτταρο θα γινόταν ένα party, χωρίς σταματημό.

Κρίνοντας από τα «πιασίματα», της επόμενης μέρας, το live των Full House B.C., ήταν ακριβώς αυτό που θα περίμενε κάποιος.

Με τους Serenity Broken, Hidden In The Basement και Potergeist, το Σάββατο εξελίχθηκε σ’ένα ενδιαφέρον show.

Serenity Broken

Οι πόρτες άνοιξαν γύρω στις 19.15 και όσο η ώρα περνούσε ο κόσμος ξεκίνησε να μαζεύεται.

Στις 19.45 οι Serenity Broken ανέλαβαν να ξεκινήσουν το ζέσταμα της βραδιάς.

Το αρχικό τους μούδιασμα, άρχισε να εξαλείφεται όσο μαζευόταν ο κόσμος.

Οι μελωδίες τους είχαν αρκετά ενδιαφέροντα στοιχεία, με πολύ όμορφα και ρυθμικά μέρη στις κιθάρες και στα τύμπανα.

Ο άριστος και μεστός ήχος, μας έδωσε μια ιδέα για το τι θα επακολουθήσει.

Hidden In The Basement

Στη συνέχεια ήταν η σειρά των Λαρισαίων Hidden In The Basement.

Προσδιορίζονται ως Heavy Rock/Metal μπάντα, ωστόσο, κατά τη γνώμη μου, ήταν η μεγάλη έκπληξη της βραδιάς.

Τους είχα ακούσει λίγο πριν, όμως με εντυπωσίασαν, ακόμα περισσότερο, στη ζωντανή τους εμφάνιση.

Εάν η τετράδα από τη Λάρισα μπορούσε να περιγραφεί με μια λέξη θα ήταν ακριβώς τέσσερα γράμματα: ROCK.

Χαβαλές, όρεξη, και πάνω απ’όλα καθαρόαιμοι μεταλάδες!

Χωρίς τουπέ και υφάκι, έκαναν αυτό που ξέρουν και μπορούν με τον καλύτερο τρόπο!

Αυτό έφεραν στη σκηνή, αυτό μετέφεραν στον κόσμο, αυτό ακριβώς ένιωθαν και οι ίδιοι από την πρώτη νότα μέχρι την τελευταία.

Ένα συγκρότημα, με πολύ ευοίωνο μέλλον!

Εντυπωσιακοί σε κάθε «γρατζούνισμα» της κιθάρας! Απίστευτη ενέργεια επί σκηνής! Ομολογώ μας εντυπωσίασαν!

Προσωπικά ο ήχος τους με κέρδισε γιατί είχε αυτό το Stoner/Doom γρέζι στα φωνητικά, στα riffs αλλά και στη γενικότερη σκηνική τους παρουσία.

Θα τολμήσω να πω πως μου θύμισαν λίγο ΥΟΒ στον ήχο και ιδιαίτερα με την ζωντανή τους εμφάνιση, σε σχέση με το άλμπουμ.

Το σίγουρο είναι ότι θα τους παρακολουθούμε ακόμη περισσότερο τα επόμενα χρόνια.

Potergeist

Στις 21.40 ήταν η ώρα των συν-οικοδεσποτών της βραδιάς να ανέβουν στη σκηνή.

Έχοντας μείνει ήδη 4 χρόνια χωρίς κυκλοφορία νέου δίσκου, οι Potergeist μας προετοίμασαν για κάτι νέο παρουσιάζοντας φρέσκα κομμάτια.

Η αλήθεια είναι, ότι σκηνικά, δεν μας εντυπωσίασαν ιδιαίτερα, καθώς θύμιζαν πολύ έντονα, τόσο τους Pantera, όσο και τους Red Hot Chilly Peppers.

Αν και όπως αναφέρουν και οι ίδιοι, άλλωστε, έχουν επιρροές από τους Pantera, ίσως θα έπρεπε να προσπαθούν να κάνουν κάτι δικό τους…

Σκηνικά τουλάχιστον!

Full House Brew Crew

Ο κόσμος είχε ήδη μαζευτεί, η σκηνή άρχισε να μεταμορφώνεται και στις 23.00 ήρθε η ώρα του party.

Οι Full House Brew Crew ήταν έτοιμοι να μας παρουσιάσουν το τελευταίο τους album “Me Against You“.

Με δύναμη, ρυθμό και επιβλητικότητά τους «ανάγκασαν» το Κύτταρο να σείεται από την πρώτη νότα.

Φυσικά το σύνθημα έδωσαν και τα strobe lights, φωτιές και όλα τα εφέ που περικλείει η βραδιά τους.

Περίμενα να ξεχωρίζει η παρουσία του Βαγγέλη Καρζή, όμως η επιβλητικότητα ανάβλυζε από όλη την τετράδα.

Μια μπάντα δεμένη μουσικά αλλά και σκηνικά!

Κάθε μουσικός έβαζε το δικό του λιθαράκι στην παρουσίαση των τραγουδιών τους.

Για Southern Metal συγκρότημα, πάντως, η σκηνική τους παρουσία ξεπέρασε κάθε προσδοκία!

Το μέλλον των Full House προμηνύεται εντυπωσιακό…

Ενδεχομένως, και η αποχώρηση του Βαγγέλη Καρζή από τους Rotting Christ, να «βοηθήσει» ακόμα περισσότερο στην εξέλιξή τους…

Για να είμαστε ειλικρινείς, η κιθάρα του πάει πολύ, και ευελπιστούμε να γίνει μόνιμο μέλος των αγαπημένων Wolfheart!

Καταλήγοντας, δε μπορώ να μην αναφέρω τον άριστο ήχο που είχαν όλα τα συγκροτήματα.

Άλλωστε είναι κάτι που συμβαίνει κατά κόρον στο Κύτταρο γι’ αυτό και είναι μια απόλαυση η κάθε συναυλία εκεί.

An unstoppable party

The long-awaited date for an unstoppable party was on Saturday, May 4th , at Kyttaro.

Judging by the next day’s “numbness” of the body, Full House B.C.’s live show, was exactly as we expected.

With Serenity Broken, Hidden In The Basement and Potergeist, Saturday evolved into a really interesting show.

Serenity Broken

The doors of Kyttaro opened around 19:15 and as time went by more and more people continued to gather.

Until 19.45 when Serenity Broken took the stage to warm everybody up for the evening.

They seemed to me a little bit startled at the beginning, but that went away as the fans kept on coming.

With very beautiful and rhythmic parts in guitars and drums their melodies grew very interesting.

However, the excellent sound gave us all an idea of what was to come.

Hidden In The Basement

Up next it was time for Hidden In The Basement, the band from Larissa.

They are identified as a Heavy Rock / Metal band, and in my opinion they were the biggest surprise of the evening.

I had explored them musically only a little beforehand, but I was impressed even more with their live appearance.

If the quartet from Larissa could be described in one word it would be exactly these four letters: ROCK.

Humor, joy and full of energy, and above all pure metalheads!

Smiling and open to the fans, without “posing” they did what they came to do in the best way!

They brought their fun onto the stage, they hooked us all up to their fun and they sure felt it from the first song to their last.

A band with a very bright future ahead of them!

Amazing on every pick of the strings and really energetic on stage! I have to admit they impressed us!

Personally they won my heart because of this Stoner / Doom atmosphere and sounding both on the vocals, the riffs and on their general stage presence.

I Dare to say that they reminded me a bit of YOB in terms of stage presence as well as their live sound compared to the album version.

We will definitely watch them even more in the years to come.

Potergeist

At 21.40 it was time for the co-hosts of the evening to get on the stage.

Having spent four years without releasing a new album, Potergeist prepared us for something new to come by presenting a few fresh and newly written tracks.

The truth is that we were not really impressed by their stage presence as they reminded us very strongly both of Pantera and Red Hot Chilly Peppers.

As they themselves have said, they have influences from Pantera, but maybe they should try something of their own…

At least in terms of set-ups and stage presence-wise.

Full House Brew Crew

The crowd had gathered in every corner of Kyttaro, the stage began to transform and at 23.00 it was time for the “main course” of the party.

Full House Brew Crew were ready to present their last album, “Me Against You” (along with songs from their previous album).

With a bang and a hell of a show, as they had promised.

Powerful, imposing and mighty, along with their familiar rhythm, they forced the whole of Kyttaro to shake and tremble from the very first note.

Of course, the strobe lights along with all the pyro and the other special effects that surrounded their evening played a very big part.

I was expecting to see Vangelis Karzis‘ impressive presence on guitar and vocals to stand out.

But to be honest, the whole of the quartet impressed me and had a powerful presence.

A band that showed they are in sync both musically and on their stage presence.

Every musician put his own “piece” in the presentation of their songs.

For Southern Metal band, however, their stage presence exceeded all expectations!

One thing is for certain, Full House Brew Crew’s future seems really bright…

Perhaps Vaggelis Karzis’ leaving Rotting Christ may also be a kind of boost for the band’s future development.

To be honest, being a guitarist rather than a bass player suits him much better and we hope he becomes a permanent member of our favorite Wolfheart!

Finally, I can not but mention and praise the excellent sound that all the bands had, from the very first song to the last.

Besides, this is something that Kyttaro is known for and makes every concert there a real pleasure.
