At R1 Vibes we have a high preference in research that proves that metal music helps in many areas.
One of them is physical exercise! Yes, yes, you read that right. Physical exercise!
A recently published study by the IDEA Health and Fitness Association shows that those who listen to fast-beat music perform better.
Psychologist Christian Kindt says he listens to aggressive music to intensify his exercise, both outside and inside the gym.
“I usually choose hard Rock music when I exercise outdoors. I think aggression gives you a sense of adrenaline and rhythm,” says Kindt.
The study also explains that Heavy Metal is known for improving heartbeat during exercise because it has a strong, fast, and repetitive rhythm.
The benefits of Metal Music extend to many areas beyond the physical exercise.
They help in psychology, but also in health!
A recent study by the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research showed that hard music reduced lactic acid levels very quickly.
In general, and not to expatiate, Metal has several beneficial characteristics, so… Maybe you should listen a little more?
