The artistic acumen and the inexhaustible source of inspiration are proven in every choice made by a musician.
We already know that many have participated in movies or have borrowed their songs.

Below, we have collected some films created by musicians of the Rock / Metal music scene.
Rob Zombie

The sequel to “The Devil’s Rejects” is considered better than the first.
Following “The Devil’s Rejects”, Rob Zombie is directing, writing, and producing several films.
Remarkable is the remake of the classic “Halloween” in 2007.
Bob Dylan
Undoubtedly, he is an artist who still influences musical events today.
He is one of those who have been involved in many kinds of art, including visual arts and filmmaking.
The 1978 film “Renaldo and Clara” is signed by him both in direction and in script.
Unfortunately, it was not successful and its screening in the theaters was interrupted.
The long duration of the film (four hours) and its slow plot may have been to blame.
Nick Cave
Nick Cave is more than just a musician. His artistic entity is huge.
He is also a writer, actor, and screenwriter.
In 2005 he signed the screenplay for the Australian western “The Proposition” which stars Guy Pearce, Emily Watson, and John Hurt, among others.
He has also written the screenplay for the sequel to the 2000 film Gladiator.

Among the countless works of Flaming Lips is the movie “Christmas On Mars”.
A Christmas horror/science fiction movie written and directed by Wayne Coyne.
The film was even shot in the yard of his house in Oklahoma!
Fred Durst
If you were told that Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst directed a dramatic film, would you believe it?
And yet he did it with the 2007 film “The Education of Charlie Banks”.
The most impressive thing is that his dramatic film won the storytelling award at the Tribeca Film Festival the same year.
