As it turns out, the litigations have no end for Guns N’ Roses.
This time their “enemy” is a brewery, which since 2018 draws a beer with their name.
As the “loudersound” says, the “Canarchy Craft Brewery Collective’s Oskar Blues Brewery“, on August 2018 attempted to register the name “Guns N Rose“.
This, as it was expected, draw, once more, the attention of the managers and lawyers of the band.
For the time, the company accepted to stop selling beer, but not before March 2020.
Something that resulted, the Guns N ‘Roses, suing the brewery in order to immediately stop the circulation of the beer.
Papers filed in California argue that the brewery:
“Should not be entitled to continue to sell infringing products and intentionally trade on GNR’s goodwill, prestige, and fame without GNR’s approval, license, or consent“.
Guns N’ Roses are suing for trademark infringement and are seeking unspecified damages.
In other words, as many years as they pass, whatever difficulties they face, they do not conform.
Without wanting us to become spiteful, (though we do not avoid it)… Why not cooperate with the brewery instead of running constantly in court?
Food for thought!
