The only constant is that music can improve a person’s emotional and physical health.
Regardless of the genre, everyone listens to music, either by choice or through a television program such as a soundtrack of a movie and/or advertisement.
In general, music is an integral part of our way of life.
It has been proven (scientifically) that listening to music has many benefits, but what do people who listen to Metal music gain?
The answer comes again from science…
Support and comfort
Although Metal has a reputation as a “strange” and “revolutionary” genre, it’s a scene that accepts everyone.
Especially those who feel “socially deprived” and/or marginalized, find refuge in Metal.
Precisely because the scene accepts them, Metal makes them feel comfortable and their diversity is being supported.
As is well known, metal fans are extremely devoted to the genre and its community.
Those who think that they do not fit (or are not accepted by society, more correctly), in Metal they find a common language of communication.
Mental discharge
Metal music is characterized by the intense distortion in the sound of the electric guitar, the fast solos, the heavy sound focused on the bass and the drums.
It is this sound that helps in mental discharge, as its aggression and speed lower the pulse.
For example, when you are in a strong emotional state, listening to Metal music is all you need to get your blood pressure back to normal.
Joy and peace
As oxymoronic as it may seem, it does not cease to be a reality.
Metal music and especially Black helps its listeners to feel joy and peace.
More specifically, this genre helps its listeners eliminate negative emotions and create strong, compassionate emotions.
Death metal fans feel a “strange” joy and calm, but they also express aversion to any form of violence.
After all, who are we who will question science !!!
The above, however, we do not say them… scientific studies say, so, they are probably true!
