The New Yorker kings of progressive metal, have announced their second North-American leg of their “Distance Over Time tour“.
In this tour, their set will be split between new and classic songs.
However, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the release of “Metropolis Part 2: Scenes From a Memory“.
So they will play the album in its entirety live during this tour.
Starting on 26th September up to 11th November, the tour consists of 27 live appearances.
Each show will be in the “An Evening With” style, bringing over two hours and 45 minutes of music to the stage.

Aside from that, the band announced that they will return to Europe, continuing the tour.
Their recent tour in Europe was marked by the misunderstanding that it would be dedicated to the Metropolis Part 2 anniversary.
This, eventually, did not happen, leaving fans disappointed.
This time, according to the band, in January and February 2020, the “Distance Over Time European Tour” will include performing the entire iconic album.
In the same form as in North America.

Dream Theater North America Tour
Οι Νεουορκέζοι βασιλιάδες του progressive ήχου, Dream Theater ανακοίνωσαν τη 2η περιοδεία τους στη Βόρεια Αμερική υπό τον τίτλο “Distance Over Time Tour“.
Στην περιοδεία θα παίξουν τραγούδια από τον τελευταίο τους δίσκο καθώς και παλιά κλασικά τους κομμάτια.
Ωστόσο, η φετινή χρονιά σηματοδοτεί και την επέτειο των 20 χρόνων κυκλοφορίας του “Metropolis Part 2: Scenes From a Memory“.
Γι’αυτό το λόγο θα παίξουν ζωντανά κατά την περιοδεία και το άλμπουμ στην ολότητά του.
Η περιοδεία θα περιλαμβάνει 27 ημερομηνίες ξεκινώντας στις 26 Σεπτεμβρίου έως και τις 11 Νοεμβρίου.
Η κάθε εμφάνιση θα είναι στη μορφή “An Evening With” με διάρκεια παραπάνω από 2 ώρες και 45 λεπτά.
